I want to start off by saying how wonderful Jonathan, Thomas and the rest of the team are! They truly did an incredible job renovating my new apartment in Manhattan. As a first-time homebuyer, I was a bit nervous trying to find someone reliable and knowledgeable but they exceeded any hopes or expectations. My renovations were pretty extensive including gutting a bathroom, kitchen, installing new doors, stair railings, patchwork, paint, baseboards, and more. Not only was I thoroughly impressed with the work ethic, competitive and fair pricing, but the quality of work and attention to detail was invaluable. As an Architect myself, I like to be very involved in the process and understand how everything is done. Jonathan was very patient with me and always explained everything in great detail. I even had multiple neighbors asking how I found such a great contractor. It was such a lovely experience and I’ll definitely be working with Jonathan and his team for any future projects!

I had a good experience with Jonathan and his team in working on a few projects including painting and installing new backsplash/sink/faucet in my kitchen. Pros: I interviewed several contractors and his pricing was competitive. He was incredibly responsive to questions along the way. Overall work quality was decent (more on that below). Cons: The one thing I'd say is you have to stay on top of the work quality/how items are finished off. Example: the original paint job on my walls was so bad (paint got mixed up) that I insisted it be redone. To the team's credit, they eventually agreed but it took me having to point out and document all the issues. Additionally, Jonathan and his team have yet to come back and attempt to remove the paint that got on my brand new wood floors despite an attempt to coordinate. All in all, an above average experience - just be prepared to stay on top of the details.

Hi Kelly, we are very sorry for the issue with the paint. One of the guys painted some spots with the wrong finish. We fix it right away. Repainting the entire apartment again. Unfortunately, we couldnt come back the exact day requested to remove some small splashes of paint on the floor. We gave you options in different dates but it would not work for you either. We have availability since today. Our apologies for the inconvenience. Thanks

Had a previous contractor for a bunch of work on an apartment renovation and contacted Skyline to finish the work the other contractor messed up. My subfloor was far off from being level and I had large format tile that needed a level floor. Mission completed w the Skyline team. The best part of the work was the communication- text and photos of any issue that came up to confirm how I wanted to proceed. That didn't happen with most of my other contractors. I'll be using these guys for my other projects going forward. The floors in the photo came out great although they're loaded with sawdust in the pic.
