I was looking for a trainer that would challenge me and help me shed some fat and I came upon John. He has been amazing. I started off just wanting to do a 20 week program, but training with John has been so fun and challenging that I've decided to continue training with him long term. I'm getting stronger and my body is changing with each weeks training. Since training with him I've shed about 12 pounds of FAT. He's very knowledgeable and knows exactly how to help you reach your goals. I definitely recommend anyone with any fitness level to train with John.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process is to first speak with the client to assess their needs and wants. I always like to ask a person what they have tried before. What has worked, what hasn't. I do this so I can breakdown a client personally and create a custom program that will work and be enjoyable for the client. Also for a first time session I do a physical assessment. This is so I can see what a clients strengths and weaknesses are. This helps me create an exact custom/personal program for the client.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified personal trainer through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine).I have had this certification for 2 years now and have been training clients 1 on 1 for 2 years as well.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been into sports, weight lifting, and training since the 8th grade. Its simple, I love being active. But I also love helping people. Personal training gives me the benefit of both.
