I will definitely contact him again for other projects. He responded to my text almost immediately and worked with me on a price. I contacted him on Sunday and he scheduled me for Wednesday. He confirmed our appt on the day off and arrived on time. He had his tools and did not request anything from me. Upon completion he gave me an opportunity to inspect the project and advised me of a broken piece that I was aware of and a piece that was missing! He did a great job and I am very happy. Great guys that did a great job, places were saying months wait for a patio door install (mine was shattered so it urgent) contacted these guys on on Wednesday they gave me quote and a rundown of what the service will look like, came on Friday and did an absolutely fantastic job. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I just charge for my time. I’m always hard at work when I’m on the clock. I have a two hour minimum but no other fees.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Whenever I have a new job for a customer, I always want to make sure I understand exactly what the customer wants, and then I always ask if there’s any other small projects or things they want me to help out with while I’m there anyways.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked in the construction industry for over 13 years. I’ve done everything from cutting down trees to installing solar panels to some electrical and plumbing work as well as general construction. In Ukraine, I had my own crew and work as a subcontractor for big projects.
