Michelle is an exceptional massage therapist. Because of a bad car accident I was in, I have had many massage therapists throughout the years - some great and some not so great. Michelle is not only professional and punctual but she knows the human body better than most massage therapists out there. She is attentive, effective and thorough. If you are looking for someone who will ask you what you need and listen to you, Michelle is a massage therapist you will be happy with.Sep 29, 2019Verified
She was exactly the combination I needed, massage therapist with knowledge of movement to bring back my frozen muscles to functioning, i.e. she was responsive to my particular issues, sports medicine for the geriatric set.Aug 3, 2017Verified
Excellent!! She is a great massage therapist who utilizes her base of knowledge to make her treatments second to none. Very happy I found her- will be going back.May 4, 2017Verified
Michelle Labosky provided the most effective, relaxing massage that I have yet experienced! I chose Michelle when I saw her background in sports science and exercise physiology. It's difficult to find a therapist who can provide a true sports massage, because it requires a more technical knowledge of muscle anatomy. I do a variety of workouts, which cause me muscle pain and knots. Michelle provided an individualized massage, which not only provided immediate relief, but ongoing relief of muscle tension. Several days after my massage, I am still feeling its benefits! Michelle was also very professional and I felt entirely comfortable during my massage. Highly recommend!!Mar 19, 2017Verified
Great experience! Saw Michelle for a dry needling session, my first. Michelle was very thorough, fully explained session, assessed my condition, shoulder issue, and gave great massage to area after. Not saying it was “miracle cure”, but definitely significant improvement. Plan on seeing again!Oct 27, 2019Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Listening to the client's needs is of utmost importance. A thorough medical history and lifestyle questionnaire is vitally important with new clients. This is the basis where all physical results will follow.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I earned my Master of Science in Sports Science/Coaching-Exercise Physiology. My Bachelor degree is in Athletic Training for Sports Medicine. I completed a Graduate Assistantship with the University of Akron School of Dance and worked side by side with Dr. Joseph Congeni (Team Physician/Medical Director Akron Children's Hospital). I am a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Medical Massage (900 clinical and classroom hours). I have been working in my field for over 15 years treating a wide array of athletes, patients and clients of all ages. Treatment includes massage therapy and therapeutic exercise for musculoskeletal injuries. As a Licensed Healthcare professional I am required to have Continuing Educational Units every year (national and state) to stay current with new research and practicing techniques.
