Ceramic or Porcelain Tile Installation
Absolutely DON'T HIRE THIS GUY. The first time he was scheduled to come out to do the on site estimate for my small tiling project (back splash and edging around vanity in the bathroom), he kept pushing back the time, and then wanted me to take pictures and did an estimate based on the pictures. I should of had a clue then! Then he came out to do the tiling and told me up front he would need to return to finish the project (grout) due to the mastic needing to dry for at least 24 hours. That was understandable, but unfortunately I paid him almost 87% of the amount for the job. I scheduled for him to be here at 10 am and again an hour before then he started asking for the time to be pushed back to between 12 and 12:30. I agreed and he never showed up. Now I have an unfinished project that looks awful. He told me he had 26 years of tiling experience....I highly doubt it from the look of the work! The tiles are crooked, some are not fully attached, the glass ones have shadows from improper amounts of mastic, and the edging tiles were cut to different lengths. And to top it off they cut the tiles in my bathtub. I allowed this since it was cold outside, but they never even cleaned up their mess and they were using one of my good towels to clean off the tile. Worst handyman ever and a total scammer out of people's money! Hire him for tiling at your own risk. The sad thing is, I was willing to overlook the issues with the tile if he would of just returned to finish the job. But a no call and no show and avoiding my texts and calls earns him a horrible review!Jan 9, 2017Verified
Mike was out within 15 minutes of my first estimate request. We had some snags in scheduling ( both ways) but that is OK, because he communicated with me and I can work with that. He is a nice guy and works quickly.Feb 24, 2019Verified

thank you miss Angela I'm glad I was able to take care of your buyers list for the smooth sale of your home and save you some money in the process from the big companies who give highly overpriced estimates please feel free to call for anything you may need in the future!
Mike got at our farm around 5 p/m and I thought is he going to have enough time to get the job done before dark? In 2 hours Mike was finished securing an area that we have invested our hard earned money in. I was so pleased with the workmanship and the positive attiude Mike posses. If I have another job I know who to call.. My man Mike!!! Great job Mike I appreciate it. Thom LunsfordApr 22, 2017VerifiedAll-in-one Handyman's reply

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to meet with the customer for a quote visit, during or shortly after the visit I will email them their quote, of hired I like to get them scheduled at their earliest conscience. I attempt not to keep acquiring new clients if my schedule is full for the next 7 days no one wants to wait 2 weeks to get their project done after accepting a quote.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?over the last 25 years I have taken jobs based on what skills I have not yet acquired. so I am able at this point in my life to start a career doing jobs in almost every category for myself. I thoroughly enjoy seeing the satisfaction on a client's face when they view the work I have completed and the comments they give afterwards.
- What types of customers have you worked with?I have worked with many customers thus far, from businesses needing facilities maintenance, investors needing rental properties maintained, families looking to upgrade their home, to the college kids needing things put together in their dorm
