DocPadz built the back-end of my Wix marketplace platform Insight Exchange. From our initial briefing I could tell Nick and the team understood my requirements and what I was hoping to achieve. There was clear communication and process outline throughout the process. I always knew what was being worked on and when. The build took about 2 months and I now have a fully functioning site that would have cost a lot more if I had tried to build it from scratch. We contracted with DocPadz to take over an app project from another vendor. The entire process was simple, straighforward and quite pleasant. The team addressed my concerns, told me what and how things were going to go, and asked clarifying questions to make sure they were providing us the product that we wanted (and then some). They over-delivered on excellent quality while having some fun in the process. A fantastic experience overall!

PAYMENT TERMS: --------------------- 50% up front and 50% due on completion of most jobs. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
OUR PROCESS: ------------------ - Initial message exchange on Thumbtack.com - Arrange phone call - (usually 1/2 hr. call to determine your specific need) or other communication method - Provide quote - (we analyze your needs and requirements. Then put together either a short 1-2 page quote or Excel document with detailed estimates (for larger projects)) - You sign & return Quote. Pay initial 50% Deposit. - Then: -----> For SMALL PROJECTS: Start the work per the schedule. Complete work. You review. Feedback. Changes or Approval. Final changes. Your final review. Client sign-off. -----> For SMALL WEB DESIGN & E-COMMERCE PROJECTS: Help determine website styles & a platform to host your site on. Our recommendation on a platform for small business websites & e-commerce sites is: WIX, WORDPRESS or SHOPIFY. Present you with a few sample website styles to choose from. Determine your page & content needs. We go back to do the work. Share periodic updates. Then deliver the 1st draft. You review & provide feedback. We make changes per agreed upon feedback. You review final time. We do Last minute minor changes. Client sign-off. -----> For WEB APPLICATION & SOFTWARE PROJECTS: Get requirements in detail. Carefully document your business needs as they relate to the Application. Meanwhile, we help determine web app style. Present you with a few sample web app styles to choose from. Determine your page, content & data needs. If existing data needs to be imported into the new system, then we create a plan to accomplish that on schedule. We then finalize the overall design. Setup any hosting (or infrastructure needs like on Microsoft Azure Cloud). Start working on the coding and layout of the site. Share with you periodic updates.
