I specialize in home repair and construction services, and I have been doing so for over 30 years.
I started out doing handyman jobs at the age of 14 for neighbors, then I apprenticed at J.J. Benning Construction Co. as a carpenter as well as painter.
I love my work, and I feel that it is a privilege to help people feel happy in their homes.

We've had Mr. Sherman complete two projects for us. First he painted our nursery and he was so professional and it turned out so beautifully we asked him to return as a handy-man to help us baby-proof. He professionally installed customized baby gates on our stairs and latches on our cabinetry and drawers. Mr. Sherman was prompt, courteous and professional and we get compliments on the work he has done. His prices are reasonable too.

My son had purchased a home with garage door that would not close and was damaged. Found that framing on right side of door was damaged and had to be fixed. I was in Lakewood for a week to babysit as he and spouse were on vacation, so I wanted to get this matter resolved for him. I went on thumbtack on a Sunday and Bill called me and came over and did the repair on Monday. He did a fantastic job and the cost was very reasonable. I will hire him again if I need carpentry type work.
