What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always taking classes. I believe in expanding my domain of knowledge as well as keeping up with the latest trends and discoveries in my field.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out as an artist. When the personal computer came along, I was an early adopter. I enjoy working with computers and discovered I have a special talent for communicating technical subjects to the non-technical. That is why I focused on technical subjects. I have taken extensive training in technical writing in addition to my graphics and design background.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I handle software documentation and types of instructions including assembly instructions. I design layouts and prepare documents for print.
