FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are several ways to work with a new client, including in-person, telephone, and email. I prefer the initial assessment be done in-person. In-person Basic training is $40 per hour; there is a $10 reduction for 6 sessions for dogs that are adopted from a rescue group or shelter. Email and telephone are done at half the basic rate. Aggression rates are $65 per hour, with no reduction in rate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I assess the dog/environment, as well as behavioral, nutritional, and medical background. Then, with the owner's input, I'll design and implement training designed to both teach appropriate behavior and reduce the unwanted ones.
