I have thorough knowledge of medical terminology, with an excellent understanding and usage of English grammar and punctuation. I am very proficient with Microsoft Word 2003 as well as 2007. I possess all the necessary equipment and reference materials to work from home. During my previous employment and higher training, I have gained proficiency in many transcription platforms; i.e. Winscribe, e-mailed voice files, Chartscript, eScription, voice recognition, VPN, Express Scribe, YOUSENDIT, ChartNet and Mscript, as well as I-Transcribe. I am proficient in all work types including, but not limited to the basic four. My most recent experience was in orthopedics, psychiatry, and internal medicine/primary care. I am also flexible and can provide a 24-hour turnaround. I possess a great capacity to understand different accents. Since 2010, I have had great success as a senior QA editor helping my fellow MTs to succeed.
