FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Ever since childhood, I have walked around with a camera attached to my hip. My family members and friends would roll their eyes when I pulled it out and said "Smile!!!!" at the strangest of moments. My friends and I would have "photo shoots" where we would dress up, do our makeup, and take pictures of each other. Now that I'm older, I still love being behind the camera - except now I've graduated from my old point-and-shoot to some nicer equipment. There's no better career than one you love!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure the photographer you hire understands what you want. Nothing is worse than hiring sometime to capture life's most precious moments, only to discover that the end product is not at all what you envisioned. Hire someone reliable who knows how to listen more than talk!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Photography is so much more than just buying nice equipment. If you have a special event coming up, I would highly recommend hiring a professional photographer to capture the special day. We put hours of thought into lighting, posing, and post-production editing to make every detail perfect. A relative who happens to own a DSLR just won't deliver the same artistic quality as a professional. Plus, if you hire an outside party, your relative will get to enjoy themselves without the added pressure or distractions that photographing an event can bring. We are worth the money! :)
