Hardwick Tree Care, LLC
About this pro
I had several bushes that needed to be removed. They fit me into their schedule quickly and got the job done. They were very diligent with their work and cleaned up very well when they were done. I would definitely hire them again!Sep 24, 2016Verified
My call was returned promptly and an estimate given very quickly. The men that did the job were on time and did the job without difficulty. Very nice guys! Would recommend this company and will call them again if I need tree service.May 20, 2015Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Tree work can be tricky to bid without seeing the trees. The golden measurement that I need to be able to give you a more accurate bid is the tree diameter at breast height (DBH). Take a tape measure, wrap it around the tree at breast height, divide it by 3.14 then multiply by $10. My tree removal price starts at $10/inch. If I have to climb the tree due to any structure beneath the tree that might prevent a simple felling such as a fence or shed I charge more per inch. Sometimes a simple climb won't increase your price much but if I have to lower each branch by a rope system then the price does go up. I always prefer to come look at your trees before I lock in on a price.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Yes, I do. I attend classes for arborists, safety classes and I am always reading books and trade articles on new techniques in tree work. I enjoy what I do and learning how to do it better and safer is an enjoyed activity for me and my sons.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I have a background in Fire/EMS work and enjoyed training for high angle rescues. Rock climbing was a fun hobby as well so I applied my knowledge from that in tree work. I am the owner of the company and the climber as well. Tree work is hard work and I wanted to have a company that I could teach my sons a love of hard work and a good solid work ethic.
