I never expected to be in this line of work, it was an accident. As an army brat we moved non-stop. It was always my mom and I's job to fix whatever house we were living in and sell it for a profit when we moved. She taught me well and then I took it many steps further. I like to think outside the box and do the unusual. I believe strongly in using existing materials and recreating them whenever possible. I love the creativity, finding the right thing, the unexpected thing, just the right color, hearing a client say "I can't believe that's my old buffet!"

Anne Csorba is multitalented! She is a creative painter, builder, party planner and much more. She definitely is able to think "outside the box"! After finding her on Thumbtack, I hired her to help "liven" up my kitchen/hearth room. She showed me her portfolio of ideas and suggested some that would work. She has a good "eye" for design and style! Beside my kitchen painting, she gave some ideas to improve furniture placement in other rooms. She was reasonably priced, punctual and has followed up on the planned work that was agreed upon. I can foresee using Anne for many other projects in the future!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
my job everyday is my continuing education. I learn something new on every jobsite and try something new every chance I get. As I tell my clients, if you hate it, the redo is on me. So far that has not happened!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
it happened accidentally. I reupholstered our old couch and made some curtains. My neighbor saw them and asked me to do hers. Her friend asked me to help with her kitchen... her mom needed a bathroom redone....and so it went...that was 30 years ago.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I rarely get the common jobs, I always get the hard ones...lol...that's why they come to me, because I AM NOT AFRAID!
