FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I believe in old-school integrity: No hidden fees and no mid-project price changes. Once we agree on a quote, that is the price you pay. My estimates are comprehensive, covering high-quality materials and the specialized labor required for stone and brickwork. I provide a "fair price for forever work"—meaning I price my projects so they only have to be done once in your lifetime.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts with a simple contact through my professional channels. To give you the most accurate quote, I prefer to start with detailed pictures of the project site, followed by an on-site estimate for complex builds or structural repairs. I’ll walk the property with you, discuss material options (like the difference between cultured and natural stone), and provide a straightforward plan of action so you know exactly what to expect from day one.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My expertise comes from years of hands-on grit and being hypercritical of my own work. I’ve learned exactly what not to do by seeing where others have failed in this trade. I don't just "lay stone"; I study the physics of the build. This self-taught mastery means I am my own toughest inspector—if a joint isn't perfect or the structural integrity isn't 100%, I’m not finished. I build things to survive the elements, not just look good for a week.
