- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Thankfully, I am a member of the Professional Photographers of America organization, as well as a member of the Adobe community. Each Tuesday ("training Tuesday", I call it) I take advantage of the many tutorials and workshops they make available to their members. Additionally I participate in workshops through the year, given by photographers whom I admire.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been enjoying photography as a hobby for 15 years. It wasn't until last year that I decided to build a "real business" around it. I "retired" from my previous career and took the plunge. I love it and it really gives me an opportunity to let my creative side run free. I'm so very fortunate that my husband and children support my new career path.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Family, photography and senior photography are year round clients that I serve. During summer months, I do engagement and wedding photography.
