- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Smaller jobs are typically on an hourly basis. Larger, more complex jobs will require a quote and are typically priced by the job. The cost of the job does include raw materials only and all quotes are subject to applicable tax on the final invoice. Larger jobs over a certain amount may require half down to begin the work at the owners discretion.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
1. For standard, smaller jobs, often I can provide a quote if clear photos and measurements of the area are provided. For larger, more complex jobs and in person review of the work/quote will be scheduled. 2. All quotes can go up if we get to the job site and find any unforseen complications. 3. Due to supply chain issues you must have your materials on hand before scheduling work. We are not designers so we cannot pick out your materials for you. i.e. If you want a light fixture replaced, have the light fixture purchased and delivered prior to your scheduled work day. 4. Raw materials are included in the quoted price, sales tax is not.
