FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is a $50 service charge for arriving at the home and diagnostics is included in this fee. Cost of repair and labor depends on how big the job is.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
There will be initial contact over the phone. This is where I will gather information to understand the issues the customer is having with their HVAC. Then communicating to the customer if the issue is something that I can engage in. If their issue is something I can engage in then an appointment can be booked for me to come out at which upon arrival the $50 fee will be charged (won’t be collected until after diagnostics). After diagnostics, the cost of repair and labor will be discussed. I don’t typically keep materials and parts with me if any are needed so they will have to be ordered or bought from a supply house. If this is the case where parts need to be ordered then another appointment can be scheduled. If another appointment needs to be scheduled for me to come back out and do the repairs you will NOT be charged again for the $50 fee but you will be responsible for paying for repairs and labor.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a trade degree in HVAC and I am EPA certified (Universal License) which allows me to work on various HVAC equipment and to legally buy and handle refrigerant.
