- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My quotes are all done on an individual basis. I schedule a free consultation with each client. A consult usually takes 45 minutes. Once we discuss exactly what they are looking for, I will send out a very detailed quote listing all of the flowers I will use to build each item, with a price for each thing. They can build their own floral package and from that, I will create their wedding contract. I require a $100 deposit and the balance is due the week of the event.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After the initial contact through our website or other business adds, I contact the potential client and schedule a consultation to discuss the details of their special event. After the consult, I work up a formal quote and email it to the potential client. If it is accepted, I write up a wedding contract which requires a $100 security deposit (which is applied to the balance) and the remainder is due the week of the event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do many webinars on the latest and greatest wedding floral ideas. I also have many subscriptions to the latest floral magazines, bridal magazines, which I feel are vital in keeping up with the trends in the industry. I also attend several bridal expos each year.
