- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Monthly tuition for a half hour lesson is $72.00 per month, August through June. I do not teach in July. Weddings are $250 for a one hour or less ceremony.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Piano students come for an interview to see if I am a good fit for the student, and so that I can see that the family is a good fit for my studio. More information on how I run my studio is on my website. For weddings, couples generally use the wedding planning information on my website to plan their ceremony. If they decide to use my services, I send them a contract that protects both parties.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.S. in Music Therapy and a Ph.D. in Psychological Research. This background helps me work with each student on an individual basis to meet their learning needs. Having taught motivation and classroom management at the college level, I am able to create a very positive environment that motivates students to make their best effort. I also have many years of experience in church music, and have albums on iTunes so clients can be secure in knowing I am professional and will provide them with the best in wedding music.
