- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Penny Improvements operates on a flat rate pricing system. For example we have one price for a 2 ton A/C system, we don't charge extra if you need a thermostat but our last customer didn't. Everything in a typical job is included. Basically we don't nickel and dime our customers into more money, what we quote is the price you'll pay, period.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you are comparing apples to apples when getting quotes. I can't tell you how many times other company got a job because they were $100 less than me. Then find out it was because they installed equipment that cost $700 less than what I quoted! I often find this out when the customer has a problem and the company who installed the equipment is nowhere to be found!
