Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I will go out of my way for my customer. If my client has no heat at night or on a weekend I go to a supplier that has 24/7 service to get the parts they need to get the heat going. Many companies won't do this, they will wait until Monday morning to get you going. Helping my clients, many times when they call me it's because they have an emergency. No heat or a/c or hot water and they are worried it can't be fixed. I love the look on their face when I tell them it WILL be fixed in an hour or two. Also the feeling I get KNOWING that I can have it fixed like I just told them.

Tom & his son did a great job installing a new furnace and didn't try to pressure me into buying anything I didn't want or need as one of his competitors did. He & his son even installed on the weekend without charging a premium. I highly recommend him.

Tom checked and cleared a drain pipe on a very old Aprilaire humidifier in my 105-year-old home. I was in the market for a new humidifier and Tom made some recommendations on what variety to install. I purchased a humidifier and Tom installed it. He was easy to reach, prompt and straightforward about the work. And his price was very reasonable. I'd hire him again.

A big thank you to Tom Fullerman at Penny Improvements! Called in the morning on a Sunday was here by 11:00am and fixed our air conditioner on a hot day. Can't thank him enough, polite, kind and very thorough. Good to know there are such professionals out there that care like he does! We will definitely call him again if we need anything!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    Penny Improvements operates on a flat rate pricing system. For example we have one price for a 2 ton A/C system, we don't charge extra if you need a thermostat but our last customer didn't. Everything in a typical job is included. Basically we don't nickel and dime our customers into more money, what we quote is the price you'll pay, period.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Make sure you are comparing apples to apples when getting quotes. I can't tell you how many times other company got a job because they were $100 less than me. Then find out it was because they installed equipment that cost $700 less than what I quoted! I often find this out when the customer has a problem and the company who installed the equipment is nowhere to be found!
