Introduction
I have been training dogs since 2017, at just 17 years old! I was introduced to this line of work when my fathers police k9 became partially paralyzed due to a genetic disease. I brought him to physical therapy everyday and was immediately hooked! I quickly became a permanent part of the facility and was soon training on my own. The first two dogs I helped train are now police k9’s in central Ohio. I then went on to get certified as a decoy in bite work, and continue to train with police k9’s every month. I had four mentors who were also business owners and professional trainers. I have loved every minute of it! For me, seeing dogs come out of their shells or hearing the words, “I never thought we would ever be able to do this” come from the owners is the entire reason I pursue this job… every day!

Within today’s world, good dog trainers are truly hard to find. Robyn is one of them. She is very professional with how she handles her business with still making sure you and your dog feel confident and comfortable. Gave me more training than my dog which was huge for the betterment of my relationship with my dog. Overall I would truly recommend anyone to Robyn, she does great work!

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I start out with a free evaluation- because figuring out if you’re a good fit shouldn’t cost you! From there we meet, and I meet the dog to see if you feel we’re a good match and to see what training program we think is best for you and your dog!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I spent 8years mentoring under 4 professional dog trainers as their lead trainer, learning the ins and outs of the business and different training techniques that I was able to piece together and make my own, plus continued education and research surrounding dog training to ensure you’re dog gets the best of the best!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Find the trainer that works best with not just your personality but your dogs as well! If you’re dog isn’t comfortable with someone, they’re not going to retain the information as well
