Introduction: After battling bipolar disorder for years, I have made it my mission to put a real face on mental illness. My informative, educational and entertaining presentations and group discussions challenge the many misconceptions surrounding these debilitating diseases. People are already discussing these issues. I add fact and insight to the conversation. Additionally, I am the executive director of Speak our Mind, a nonprofit (501(c)(3) pending) that trains speakers to educate and inform others in community settings on the topic of mental illness.
