FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rate is $75 per hour for personalized, one-on-one communication coaching. I like to start with a free 15-minute introductory conversation to learn about your goals, answer any questions, and see if we're a good fit. Whether you're preparing for an important presentation, improving your professional communication, or simply looking to become a more confident speaker, we'll develop a plan that works for you. **A note about insurance:** While I am a licensed speech-language pathologist, the communication coaching services I offer are self-pay only. I do not accept insurance, and these services should not be billed to insurance. Sessions can be booked individually, so there's no pressure to commit to a long-term package.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start with a free 15-minute introductory conversation to learn more about your communication goals, discuss any challenges you're experiencing, and see if we're a good fit. During our first coaching session, we'll take a closer look at your communication strengths and areas you'd like to improve. Together, we'll identify specific goals and develop a personalized plan. From there, sessions focus on practical exercises, real-world speaking situations, and constructive feedback. My goal is to help you develop skills and confidence that you can carry into your everyday conversations and interactions. We'll regularly check your progress and adjust our approach as needed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Boston University and over 10 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist. Throughout my clinical career, I've helped people work through communication challenges during some of the most difficult and stressful moments of their lives. I've worked with people from all walks of life, with different backgrounds, personalities, and communication needs. This experience has taught me how to meet people where they are and adapt my approach to each individual. I'm also an experienced educator and mentor. I've trained students, colleagues, and healthcare professionals, developed educational programs, and led presentations for groups of all sizes. I genuinely enjoy teaching and helping others develop new skills. I bring together my clinical knowledge, teaching experience, and practical coaching strategies to help people communicate more clearly, confidently, and effectively. Whether you're struggling to find the right words or preparing to speak in front of a large audience, my goal is to help you become a stronger communicator.
