Introduction
I have been an professional actor/director and acting teacher for the last 25 years. I am a full time professor of acting at the college level and direct one to two shows a year. I specialize in contemporary dramatic and musical theatre performance and love helping actors of all levels become better artists. I specialize in monologue and scene coaching, musical theatre songs and duets, and audition preparation.

I've worked with several acting and singing instructors in the past, and no other teacher has been able to help me unlock my potential the way Kimberly has. She tailors each warm-up, exercise, and lesson to my skillset to help identify areas for growth. Kimberly has helped me overcome a lot of my acting and singing blocks through extensive breathwork training and exercises. She has also helped me identify and overcome some of the psychological blocks I experience when performing. I can honestly say that every lesson feels like a unique experience. There is no "one size fits all" approach. This is what I believe sets Kimberly apart from every teacher I've previously worked with. I've received extremely targeted and specific training for my skillset, and because of that, I have experienced more growth than I ever dreamed possible.

My young daughter was fortunate to have Kimberly as a theater director/mentor shortly before COVID hit, and we will always be grateful for that opportunity. Kimberly is warm, patient, loving, dedicated, and creative all rolled into one. She has a way of putting artists/actors at ease & bringing out the best in them. She is such a genuine and uplifting person - working & communicating with her was, and continues to be, such a joy.

Kimberly Borst was one of the best teachers and mentors that I've had. She made sure to make a safe environment for her actors and everyone always felt welcome. I absolutely love how much Kim indulges herself in her work and knows so much about the material she is using. Kimberly knows how to make learning fun and engaging for her classes.
