FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Attorneys licensed in Ohio are required to complete 24 hours of continuing education training courses every 2 years. With very few exceptions, these education courses can be on any subject, whether or not that attorney practices that area of law. I always choose continuing education courses that teach skills and information specific to the areas in which I practice. By doing so, I gain knowledge and experience in my particular field, and my clients get a better attorney. This is one way I actively differentiate myself from other legal professionals and strive to solve each client's legal issues to his or her personal satisfaction.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Think about the characteristics and qualities you want in a legal professional. Do you need someone with skills and training in a narrow, specific area (like patent law)? Do you need someone who can work with you financially because of your budget? Do you need someone short-term or long-term? Are you looking for someone local or on a bus route? Figure out what qualities you want and need before you start searching. Once you know exactly what qualities you desire in a professional, you will spend less time finding them, and more time working with them to resolve your issue.
