I think the true test of any cooking class is how often you make the dish or use the skills you learned in the class. I'm happy to report that I not only has Tikka become part of my standard rotation (I change up the protein all the time), that I also use a experiment with different garam masalas frequently and use fenugreek regularly (I used garam masalas only rarely and never used fenugreek before).

Absolutely wonderful!!! As I am a huge fan Indian food and having made a few attempts of trying to cook a few meals on my own I always seem to be missing something which made my attempts tasting just so-so. But once I attended a few of Bidisha's classes, what a difference! I practiced a few of my favourite dishes and sort of personalized them to my tastes and I am so pleased with my efforts that I could easily cook up a few dishes for company!!! Also, one other area i am really happy about when cooking up my own Indian dishes is that I can control the calories to a more healthier or more restaurant type versions which have more fat/sodium. Once you have a few dishes you love, mine are palek panner, dahl, butter chicken and rice, yes, rice, what till you see how delicious and how easy it is!

This was fantastic! Easy and fun - Bidisha was so laid back, and made cooking Indian food less intimidating. We had a wonderful time with great people, great food and a great instructor.
