About this pro

How does your service stand out?

ForeFront offers: • Web site design and development • Mobile Apps • Content management systems • eCommerce sites • SEO • Social media consulting/implementation We work from our hometown of Columbus, Ohio but have clients around the world. Since we started life as a full-service marketing company, we have a better understanding of just how your website fits into your overall marketing scheme. It's why the decision was made to narrow our focus to web development - a good site serves as the linchpin for many successful businesses. And hey; who can't use a good linchpin? But if you really want to know what sets us apart (aside from our uncanny knowledge of obscure 80's songs and avoidance of socks) it's that we are a PROACTIVE web development firm. We don't sit back and wait for our clients to ask us about the latest web trends/gizmos/ponzi schemes, we consider it our job to let you know about them. After all, we are the ones surfing the net endlessly ("it's research, boss, I swear!") and if there is one thing you should know by now about geeks, it's that we love to show people how much we know. It's just our little way of getting everyone back for all the wedgies.

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

Our primary goal is to make each one of our clients category killers. You can't accomplish that with a "set it and forget" it approach to building websites. Post-launch, ForeFront Web is involved every step of the way. From analysis, testing, reporting, tweaking, twerking, and much more, we're here for the long run to ensure that you get the best out of your site.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a very in-depth discovery session. We firmly believe that if you put the time in up front, it saves a lot of pain in the long run. We're also big believers in educating people about the process. There's a lot that goes into building a great site, and the better we can collaborate the better the end result.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The wild, wooly world of the web is full of fly-by-night companies. These range from one person outfits that are just biding time until their next "real" job comes along (leaving you and your site in the cold) to fronts for overseas programmers with no experience. Make sure to investigate the company you are looking at - how long they've been in business, who does the programming (and in what country!), how many employees.
