The father son duo installed carpets in my 4 bedroom today house today. they did a fantastic job and was pleasure working with. they are good people and would highly recommend them.

I had a laminate flooring install with a short timeline as to when it had to be finished. I received a general, "call me to go over things", so I did. At the conclusion of our 1st phone call, I said I would talk to my husband and get back to him.
He then went to Thumbtack and updated the status to I had hired him. That annoyed me, but I thought whatever, maybe that is the way the site is setup etc.
I called him back and did actually hire him. I restated my timeline, he marked it down, and told me he would be here between 8-9 a.m. on Saturday morning to start working, with the understanding I had to leave by 9:30 a.m. but could be here to get them started. At 9:15 I called him and he said that he had a job run late from Friday that he had to finish up. My question was if that was the case, why not call Friday or at 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning? Anyway, he asked if he could start my job then Sunday morning. I said I wasn't comfortable with that timeline because everything HAD to finished according to the timetable of Wednesday. We agreed that he would start that afternoon after a "couple hours of work" on the 1st job. At 2:00 p.m. I called him and he didn't answer so I left a voicemail. At 3:15 a friend called him from her number and he picks right up. Tells her that he plans to be out around 5:30-6:30 p.m. and finish the job after the deadline I gave him that he agreed to. I found another contractor who agreed to come out on Saturday afternoon to fix another person's problems. There is NO WAY I would recommend this person to anyone.

Alice seems like a nice enough person
.we make every effort to accommodate our customers schedules. I spoke to Alice personally and let her know we would be more than happy to address any concerns .
