FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most people understandably want to know the cost before reaching out — and that makes perfect sense. We believe in the same thing: clear, fair pricing with no surprises. Our fees follow Ohio law–compliant rates per notarial act, along with a modest travel fee based on the meeting location. Because travel distance can vary, we provide an exact quote once we know where the appointment will take place. You’ll always receive the total cost up front before confirming your appointment — so you can decide with confidence and peace of mind.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When you need a document notarized, you often just want it done quickly, correctly, and without hassle. I start by learning what you need notarized and where you’d like to meet — home, office, or another location that works for you. I’ll confirm what identification you’ll need and any details that help the process go smoothly. At your appointment, you can expect a professional, calm experience focused on accuracy, legality, and your comfort. My role is to ensure your signature is verified properly under Ohio law so your paperwork is accepted without issue.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Customers trust a notary to handle important legal documents accurately and professionally, so ongoing education is essential. I maintain an active Ohio Notary Public commission, having completed all state-required training and testing. Beyond that, I have continued to expand my knowledge through the Ohio Society of Notaries and advanced certification with Notary2Pro for loan signing services. I also stay active in several professional notary communities and online groups focused on customer service excellence and keeping up with legal and procedural updates. This continuing education ensures every signing I handle is completed according to current Ohio law and best practices — giving you confidence that your documents are in capable hands.
