- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once I have been retained to do an inspection I work closely with the client and Realtor for scheduling. Before beginning the inspection I explain to the client what is involved and the process that I will go through during the inspection. I always prefer the buyer to be present for the inspection so that I can explain any issues that might be discovered, and so that they can ask questions if they have any.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended Kaplan College for home inspection one year. (Master Curriculum) My education is never ending. As a member of "ASHI", I am required to have 20, educational credits per year to maintain my membership. ASHI sponsors many classes & seminars through out the year for continuing education. I am also taking coarses in specialized fields that are related to home inspection.
