- What types of customers have you worked with?
I research the history of historic homes including the history of the structure and the history of the inhabitants. I have also done family history projects. I am available to give programs on researching your historic property, what property records can tell you about your ancestors, or beginning genealogy classes to a variety of groups including libraries, genealogy groups, etc. I also do a fair amount of freelance writing on a variety of topics. Finally, I have successfully completed National Register nominations for a few properties.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My business is unique in Northern Ohio. I am tremendously interested in digging up histories, and because I have been doing this work since 2004, I know where to look. I work with my clients to discovered only what they want to know. Each job is unique in its scope, process, and findings. Diving into the past is always an adventure worth pursuing!
