I studied Photography/Business at Antonelli College in Cincinnati Ohio and began my own Freelance Photography Business in 1998. It was my Dream and has been an Amazing Adventure! I have the Best Job in the World!
I offer modern lifestyle photography. I specialize in child photography, maternity and newborn, weddings (including destination weddings), seniors, families, modeling portfolios, corporate, pets, special events and real estate.
I am also a Photography Instructor at Live Oaks Vocational School (Adult Continuing Education Program) and teach private small group photography classes.
My photographs and the subjects that I photograph have a story. It is my job to tell it!

A family friend gave me my first camera when I was 21. What started out as a hobby has grown into a lifelong love affair with photography. I am a romantic at heart and consider it a privilege to be the one to capture memories for my amazing clients.

I hired Shutter Photography to photograph my family's 70th reunion. I needed someone who could take a large group photo (~150 people), as well as photos of the individual families at our family's farm in a small town in Indiana. Stacy was very responsive to questions prior to the event, provided information to help me plan for the day, and was willing to drive a long distance to the reunion location. She was a pleasure to interact with before, during and after the event and took wonderful candid photos of the reunion in addition to the family photos. The Zen folio photo gallery made it easy for individuals to be responsible for ordering their own photos. Although it took her a while to edit the many photos taken during the day, I am extremely pleased with the final outcome. I would highly recommend Shutter Photography and will definitely use Stacy again if I need a photographer.

This was such a good experience. Stacy helped us pick a location and the photos turned out beautiful. The lighting and editing were perfect. I immediately hired Stacy to do our extended family photos in 2 months, and will continue to have her photograph my family in the coming years. Very highly recommended!!

Stacy has been taking pictures for us since my little boy was 6 months old. He is now almost 4, and I wouldn't choose anyone else to do our pictures! She is very professional and extremely creative. She has wonderful ideas and always has cute props. The photographs that she takes are amazing! Even when my son is being uncooperative, she manages to capture perfect images of him. I would highly recommend her photography services to anyone!

Stacy has taken our family photos for 4 years now. From our family Christmas pictures to birthday pictures - Stacy has done it all. One of our favorite is the Easter pictures with live bunnies! Stacy is very creative with the backgrounds and we always look forward to what's next. You can tell that Stacy truly loves what she does and loves documenting your family milestones. Shutter Photography has become part of our family traditions.
