For over 30 years I have been an attorney negotiating settlements for my clients. The leverage of being a trial attorney helped me get results. After taking the Harvard Program on Negotiation week long Meditation training I have expanded my practice to mediating disputes. Knowing how the law interfaces with the parties interests I seek to help the parties understand each other so that a mutually beneficial resolution is reached that concludes the dispute economically and efficiently. I help paties expand the pie and explore solutions that can benefit each other whether they have an ongoing relationship or not. In personal injury issues I know the needs of the injured party and how to fairly evaluate ultimate values and ultimate risks and costs of litigation vs a mediated resolution. I love seeing people resolve stressful situations in a way that all sides can hold their heads high. The satisfaction of people feeling they have taken control of their life and were treated fairly after a successful mediation is what I really enjoy.
