- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on your needs. A simple ceremony will be less expensive than if a rehearsal dinner is included. Time and travel are also considered. My basic services include an initial meeting, writing a custom ceremony with many choices and the ceremony itself. Presence at the rehearsal dinner, help writing vows and pre-marital counseling can also be included for an extra charge. Regardless, I love to be a part of bringing two people in love together. This is why I do what I do.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially, I meet with both bride and groom as a couple either in person or over the phone (depending on distance). We talk about your needs and wants. I also offer pre-marital counseling as well, if preferred. I recommend pre-marital counseling as I strongly feel that it helps clarify and solidify the relationship. I can offer a variety of ceremonies for the bride and groom to choose from. I share the ceremony script with the bride and groom for review and suggested changes. I want your ceremony to be just as you wish.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a teacher and counselor for 21 years. I present lesson to students every day. I have also presented at several educational conferences. I have an Ohio teaching, counseling and administrative license. I am licensed to perform weddings in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and West Virginia.
