Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Because we have class Instructors who are all experienced in the show fields in which they teach; they have all done competition and titled dogs, showing that our techniques WORK when it comes to training a puppy or dog. No other Club or private trainer has that in our geographical area. We love seeing people go out and take what we've taught them and begin earning titles on their dogs; we also really enjoy seeing people take their dogs into the community to do therapy dog work and thus enrich the lives of countless others. Its ALL important. If people take what we teach them and keep working with their dog, they will be pleased and satisfied with the results. We've had many success stories over the years and have many Club members [current and past] who are showing/titling dogs after being properly instructed by SOABDC. That's awesome!

Tammy W.

I have worked with Kathi in her capacity as a 4 -H Volunteer working with youth. I have also observed her and her service animals on a personal basis and at various community functions over the past several years. Her dedication to provide excellent service as well as educate youth and adults on the care and training of dogs/service animals is exemplary. Her service animals provide a plus to our community as well as her teachings. She is always available to help. She is a hard worker, dependable, dedicated, and just plain awesome in her work with these animals and what she gives to the community. I would like to see more folks pursuing the field as enthusiastic as Kathi and her beloved animals.

Kathi is not only a devoted club member, she is very active in many different organizations involving dogs. She helps her community with dog safety presentations and is very active with her beloved therapy dog, Beck.

Southern Ohio All-Breed Dog Club is an outstanding organization, where people who love dogs can meet and work on training their companions to be the best dogs they can be.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We're always getting involved with other AKC and/or UKC related projects to stay up on any rules/regulations changes. We also continue to do competition to keep our methods effective. Different things work for different dogs at times, so we have more than one way to teach many things for dogs.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

There was no other Club or group in this geographical area where people could come together and learn to train/socialize dogs. So, we decided to form one. SOABDC has been here ever since, and is open to pure & mixed breeds both.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Well Organized Puppy and Dog Training Classes [Scheduled Twice A Year, offered in Spring and Fall] AKC Canine Good Citizen Testing AKC Community Canine Testing Therapy Dog Testing with Therapy Dogs International, Inc.
