How does your business stand out?

My experience as a Realtor shows thru with my work. Some stagers are also Decorators. decorating and staging are opposite styles. Decorating adds color and personality to your space. Staging is about creating a focal point in each room and highliting that area. Also, staging is about de-personalization and minimalizing the decor and furniture and assessesories. Staging is about showing off the space (size and shape) in each room. Enhancing the positives and turning the negatives into positives. Staging is getting that "WOW" when the buyer first walks thru the door.

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

We enjoy viewing the property, taking the photos (before), explaining the process of What To Do, Why To Do and When To Do. Helping people has always been the best part of this job. Home Staging still allows us to work with people, much as we did as a Realtor. The after photos are saved for the statistical results after the property is sold.

What types of customers have you worked with?
We Stage more Vacant homes for investors. Also, we stage vacant homes listed by realtors (where the seller has already moved). We would welcome the option to stage more owner occupied properties. This is the least expensive type of Home Staging because we are using the sellers furniture and personal items. We, generally, don't have to bring in supplies. The less supplies furnished by us, the less costly for the seller. When we do supply the assessories, these items are, for example, lamps, tables with spreads( the spreads on the tables allow us to show off color in the room and match the colors in the window treatments, We also supply the window treatments, dress our the kitchen and bathrooms.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
An owner occupied seller can, actually stage their own home with the report we provide. However, we explain,, that most sellers do not have the time, take the time to complete what is necessary. Their lives are already busy with work and family. If the seller is able to follow thru, usually the seller is not able to complete in a timely manner. A Professional Home Stager can get the job done in a timely manner which is very important to the seller whenn listing their home on the market. First Impressions are EVERYTHING.....
