After 2 years of trying to make a decision on my own. I Hired Iron Rose to help me select paint colors. Kristen came in took a look around, applied her professionalism, and stayed focused which helped me ALOT!! The subtle change between the foyer and the kitchen is perfect. Kristin is an amazingly talented designer who really understood what I wanted. She was able to create a vision for my home and pull it together in a way that I never could have done without her help. She listened and then made it come to life! Her abililty to manage my project from the flooring, window treatments to the finishing art work was seamless. She understands how I live, paid attention to my spending plan and gave me great directive when I wasn't sure how to proceed. I highly recommend Kristin and wish I had found her sooner. It would have saved me a lot of money and experimenting with decorating when I just didn't know how to pull things together.

Kristin came in and got a concept of what our taste was and used that to design something we never would've imagined. It fit our taste, but was more daring than we would've chosen ourselves. She stuck with our budget, but gave us lots of ideas to build on in the future. I would absolutely use her again and would recommend her to anyone who asks.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My consultations average about two hours for our first meeting. My clients have said they appreciate the detailed information I provide at that it exceeded their expectations.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I like to get to know about my clients and and their lifestyle. What things do I need to consider, for example do they have kids, entertain often or have pets, etc. I find out what they are envisioning for their home and turn that into functional options. It is a process to work with clients, but the goal is to find out how I can help deliver what they are dreaming of.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended design school in Chicago for fashion design. I’ve spent 15 years as a retail professional in cosmetics and management. I regularly take online classes, read and mentor with others in the industry.
