Introduction

I have an art school background and have learned to code over the last 12 years, so my overall work has a more creative, artistically-educated look about it more so than the typical "geek" web coder/programmer. I bring my complex knowledge of the latest web technologies such as WordPress, Responsive Design and HTML5/CSS3 and integrate those tools with my design talent. I live to design, code and create business sites that accurately communicate the product, brand or business services.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
It seemed natural after Art School to incorporate that with another of my favorite hobbies; computers and programming. This was when the internet was barely gaining polarity and it felt amazing to get in on the ground floor of a new career (web design).
What types of customers have you worked with?
Brochure-style information sites, WordPress sites, Ecommerce and shopping carts and graphic design such as logos and branding.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask questions and have a good idea of what you'd like to see beforehand. Also, having your text copy ready and an idea of how this will work as far as what goes on what page, etc. really streamlines the project and always results in a more satisfying experience for all involved.
