It's A Dog's Life Pet Daycare started out as a small in-home petsitting business in September 2007. In celebrating our 9 year anniversary, we are proud to announce the opening of our brand new, completely renovated, state of the art pet resort & spa! A long awaited dream of mine, I selected the perfect spot-or perhaps it was fate?! Located just west of Medina's Public Square at 245 S. Medina St, the old Medina SPCA building, we like to say we are breathing new life into a well deserved old structure.
A "home away from home" for dogs & cats, my mission was to make my facility as cozy & welcoming as a human hotel/B&B. We offer 24/7 boarding services, all day every day. Instead of humdrum cages & industrial looking kennels, we pride ourselves in creating luxurious, spacious canine & feline "suites" & "condos". Adding to the ambiance, we have the "water view" & "city view" on opposite sides of the building-just like being at the Hilton!!! Our Family Room, located just off of our lobby, is a 12x12 bedroom complete with two twin beds, a lounge chair, TV & nightstand. Our single suites & Family Room can accommodate an entire family, or even one pampered pet! We also have additional amenities such as professional grooming at our Spa, midday lunches, neighborhood walks, drop off & pick up services, & extra outside activity in our huge 50'x90' dog run. A roomy indoor playroom includes all kinds of toys & agility equipment, bay window seating for daydreamers, & those guests who fancy a midday nap!
We also offer Daycare in our Playroom & dog run Monday through Friday. This service is separate from our boarding "wing", but boarders are welcome to partake as well!

Animals have always been my passion. I have done dog grooming, breeding, & shelter volunteering. Nothing has come close to the pleasure I get being entrusted with people's pets in their private homes. Now is my chance to provide a home away from home for those who wish to bring their precious ones to me!
