FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
On average my prices are per-square inch with fine art or per-square foot with large mural installations. Before quoting a project, I take in consideration the detail of each area and carefully account for time involved. Having a rendering or reference (whether completed by me or an example of an idea) is important to determine the estimate. I do, however, charge per hour on live event painting and smaller commissioned art.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to know what the client expects ultimately with their finished piece. Visual references are always helpful in determining the next step. I usually provide the client with a rough design or sketch of what he/she is looking for and then a quote is based off of this.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in commercial art & illustration. I have studied under a master portrait artist and I am somewhat of a self-taught fine artist.
