I engaged Andrew Schee's Studio Designs in May, 2011 to complete a year-long, whole-house renovation in Perkins. Andrew's team was always reliable, and understood the need to get more done in the same amount of time. Studio Designs has a number of specialists at its disposal, and I took advantage of that, employing landscapers, electricians, design specialists, plumbers, HVAC experts, and even automotive contractors. While it sounds like Andrew's team might be more expensive, this didn't turn out to be the case because of the shear volume of successfully completed projects each day. Andrew's oversight is always friendly and ethical, and he would advise when he thought it would be to my best financial advantage to wait on a project, or defray a project for another season, etc. I found excellent contractors on Craigslist for months, and figured I got lucky. However effective those contractors had been - and they were - engaging Studio Designs was my single best decision over this past year.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We are constantly engaging in continuing education. We complete at least 24 hours of continuing education credits every year.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Our most common type of project now is remodeling. Since the economy has fell, there are more families deciding to improve what they already have, rather than building new.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Take the time to do your due dillegence. Hiring a designer or contractor is a decision that will affect your entire project. Make certain that you are comfortable with who you are working with and your project will go much smoother.
