My husband and I have used J&J for two big interior projects. We had custom wainscoting installed and painted in a large area. The work far exceeded our expectations and we were so thrilled that it encouraged us to use Justin's talented carpentry on a major renovation of our living room. This included fabrication and installation of a coffered ceiling, built in floor to ceiling book case, and transformation of existing tv cabinet into functional dry bar.
Probably one of the best things about working with Justin is the vision he has for a project. In both projects, we had an idea of what we wanted, but no designs available or specific thoughts how to make it work. This was probably for the best, because the design that he came up with, the way he made things work truly speak to his talent as a carpenter. We could not be happier with any aspect of his work. From start to finish:
1. He was prompt in meeting with us and getting a fair quote
2. Started the project when stated
3. We both felt very comfortable having him and his partner in our home
4. Clean! We've never experienced anyone so considerate both during and after work. They treated our home like it was their own
5. The thing that really sold us was his attention to detail and perfection. He cared how things would look just as much as we did.
We threw a couple of new ideas at him during the construction and he was more than welcome to the ideas and made them work. We are so happy with everything, we have plans to use J&J for a number of projects that previously we probably wouldn't have even bothered with. If you are looking for professional but approachable work, you really can't go wrong with J&J. We recommend them as highly as possible. We feel so lucky to have found "our guy".

Justin custom built shelves and cabinets for us to update our living room. He is very thorough and met with us two times before beginning the project to make sure we were on the same page. We had a general idea of what we wanted, but were glad for his professional input and ideas. He added some finishing touches, like an outlet on top of our new fireplace mantle and the “no slam” cabinet door hinges, that we didn’t even expect, but are so grateful to have now. It was very easy to communicate with him, he’s a phone call or text away, and the project was completed when he estimated that it would be. I highly recommend and am hopeful to hire him back for future projects.

We wanted a bay window seating option built and Justin was very open to discussing all the ideas we had and providing good suggestions.
He was prompt when we made plans to meet to discuss the project and when he came out to measure and install.
He was somewhat competitive with all the other quotes I gathered.
All in all we got exactly what we asked for, in the time frame we asked for.
I'm pleased with his work and the quality of the product made

Aside from accommodating our short notice and being on time, Justin knows exactly what he is doing. Very professional and meticulous work.
We changed the wainscoting design couple times and Justin was there to help and work with us.
Even our painter who never knew him from before, praised his work!
I would hire him again in a heartbeat
