FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I provide discounts to my personal charities, which are FOSTER/ADOPT charities.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The customer will email me to ask about availability and price. If the customer has not yet provided information on their event, I usually ask for more information on approximate location, approximate number of guests, and what type of event it is (ie: corporate, birthday, school, church, etc). At that point, I will make suggestions to my client on how best to showcase the facepainting at their event, to make THEM look good. I will also send an Agreement form, and as soon as that is returned, they are booked! (In the meantime I will save their date/time for them). Prices are clearly stated upfront on my website so clients can see them before contacting me - I love when other companies are transparant with me, so I always do the same for others. I keep my prices exactly in line with other artists, and never the most expensive, though when combined with my abilities, you might decide that my *value* is higher than you imagined.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend conventions and online special education subscriptions. I practice a lot, I take this (fun) job very seriously, and work hard to be incredible!
