- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend seminars and classes in order to stay current with latest trends and techniques.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got into this line of work about the time I was training for the Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk. That experience left me wanting to do good for others and myself. The best way I knew I could affect people is through food. Desserts especially since they make everyone smile. The more desserts I made for people, the more peaceful I became. This may sound strange, but when I decorate, my mind shuts off the day-day worries and I'm calm.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I find the most types of jobs I do are baby showers, birthdays, and everyday desserts.
