Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Our entire business model is wrapped around the theory that home and business owners should have time to do what they want to do, not what has to be done to keep your home or business running smoothly. Spending time on priorities like family is what we want to allow. Unless you specialize in plumbing or maintenance, you should have the time to focus on growing your business, not acting like a landlord. Working with people is the best part of my job. The ability to resolve even the smallest issues in someone's home or business can make the biggest difference. When I go into the home of a mother who has not been able to do laundry for days and am able to get her going again, that is a great feeling! Plumbing and maintenance emergencies aren't fun for anyone, minimizing their impact forms clients, that makes for a great day.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was in school for auto mechanics. I like to tinker, I like tools. While in school I was looking for a job to support myself and was fortunate to work for a great plumbing company that put me through the journeyman program. I quickly realized that was the job for me. While working as a plumber, I also did evening work for a couple local companies, doing maintenance. Changing light bulb and ballasts, paint, filter maintenance, furniture assembly, etc. The business grew from there.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Our jobs vary greatly. While we do have a maintenance program that streamlines preventative maintenance for our clients, we also handle service calls. We get called for all kinds of "honey do" list items. Replacing mailboxes, cleaning drains, building walls, fixing light fixtures. We are all over the place, it is great.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Know what you are getting. If you have a large project, understand what services are being provided. Everyone has an opinion on the best way to accomplish a task. There are typically 3 ways. 1. The way you can get by doing it 2. The Cadillac way it can be completed 3. The middle ground. I believe that a client should be presented with all of the options, with all of the positives and deficits so that they can make an informed decision,
