Had this been the case, I would have addressed this immediately and been fully transparent about the damage. I also note that you were present and watching me perform the job the entire time and did not raise any concerns or observe any visible damage occurring during the process. As for the methods I used, my goal was to follow the most effective and professional approach to clearing your gutters. I was unaware of any specific concerns about the fragility of the slate tiles beforehand, and I would have been happy to adjust my process if you had let me know. I hope your roofer is able to address the damage quickly, and I appreciate your understanding that there may be other factors at play here, such as the age of the roof, the brittle nature of slate, or even recent weather conditions.
