FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend webinars several times a week where they discuss new methods, new products, new ways of using the older products, new equipment, and new changes in the industry. I also buy instructional videos on new types of printing or on the software that I use. This printing industry is constantly changing and I have to be able to keep up with those changes and change the company printing methods around to utilize those changes.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was looking to retire from nursing and wanted to find a new career that didn't require another college degree, that was fun to do, and that would be something that would be constantly evolving. The kinds of printing I do fill all those requirements.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My most common types of jobs are small jobs of less than 50 of something. I put just as much effort and care into printing one coffee mug as I do in fulfilling a corporate order of hundreds.
