- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are very upfront with all of our costs. We stick to our price sheets unless there are problems previously unknown (rotten decking, cedar shakes, etc.).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We gather the customers' address, phone number, and email address. We then ask for a good time to come out and measure the roof. After we have gathered all of that data, we compose an estimate to give to the customer. We then sit down with the customer to go over the estimate and answer any questions that may arise. After the customer is satisfied and ready to move forward, we have the customer sign an agreement. The customer will then choose a color and be put on our job list.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A majority of our crews have been working for us for several years. Gabe Tamplin is the owner of GMT Roofing, and he has been in roofing for 30 years. He has owned his own company since 2001. Aaron Dice is a production / sales associate who has been with GMT Roofing for almost 2 years. He has dealt in construction and production for most of his working life. Teage Martin is a sales associate who has been with GMT Roofing since March of 2020. He received 5 weeks of training through Gabe and Aaron.
