Academic Achievement

I provide tutoring to individual students one-on-one with a goal of increasing self-confidence and academic performance. Students often struggle in one or two academic areas and need a specialized attention to determine missing skills that need to be taught or retaught before the students can achieve academic success. I have over 10 years' experience in teaching students' skills according to their individualized learning style through effective strategies. I specialize in reading, writing and math from the elementary level through Algebra I, and I have an understanding and am utilizing Common Core standards. Therefore, students will return to their class with success over a period of time. I will provide a baseline, goals, and assessments to determine successful strategies and academic growth.
