- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Constantly. Mobile marketing is very new and marketers are coming up with some ingenious ways to help clients use the technology effectively. Also it is important to say abreast of the laws that affect how marketers use mobile technology in order to remain compliant with federal regulations. So, I believe it is important to continually learn about this field.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was on the Marketing team at Bristol-Myers Squibb that produced website for all of the consumer and pharmaceutical brands. I then became a Project Manager for a small business that focused on developing websites for Pharmaceutical companies. Once I moved to Central Ohio from the Philadelphia region, I began to learn about the power of mobile marketing and how it can help small businesses.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most clients start with a mobile website and then venture into text message marketing.
